National Youth Conference  2018 Friday 19th-Saturday 21st 2018

Theme: Recharge 

This year the theme for our convention will be around renewing the mind (Romans 12:1-2). We want to encourage and empower our young people to renew and transform their mental outlook to believing and being the best that God has created them to be- to never give up and keep pushing. We want them to ‘Recharge’.

We want to raise their awareness of good mental well-being and the fact that daily, as born-again followers of Christ, they need to be continuously ‘conformed’ to the image and mind of Christ.

As part of this convention, we want to address the current statistics on the mental well-being of the young black members of our community. We know that God wants us to thrive and not just survive.

Itinerary for Convention:

Friday 19th: 7pm-9.30pm Venue: NTA Tooting (The Sanctuary) Opening Worship & Fellowship Night

Saturday 20th: 10am-1.45pm Venue: Tooting Hub (next door to NTA) PPP (Passion, Purpose and Potential) Workshop - Richard Fisher and P.U.S.H mentors

3:30 - 5pm Recreation/ Sport 6pm: Renewal Service Venue: NTA Tooting (The Sanctuary) Guest Speaker: Pastor Joel Brown (The Good Shepherd) (TBC) worship, words of expression, creative arts

Sunday 19th: 10.15am-11.15am: Power Hour - Special prayer and Encouragement for those who need it

11.30am-1.30pm: Renewal Service TAG TEAM OF THREE

4pm-6.30pm: UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL A ‘real talk’ panel discussion on youth mental well-being

5pm -6:30pm

Uncut worship, youth words of expression (exaltation) and closing prayer of renewal
