Church Building Closure due to COVID-19 National Lockdown

Dear Members and Friends,

RE: Church Building Closure due to COVID-19 National Lockdown

As you are probably aware, the UK government has announced that from Thursday 5th November, the UK is entering a national lockdown in order to slow down the spread of the increasing rate of the Coronavirus. As a result, like the majority of other business and public venues, places of worship have been instructed to close until after the 2 nd December.

This means that the doors of The Sanctuary, NTA Tooting, are closed for the next four weeks. However, we are still able to broadcast worship services online and so we will continue to connect with you through our live stream via YouTube at 11:30am weekly. Although we cannot gather physically in the building, we can still join in heart, mind and spirit as we worship our God.

Please be encouraged. We continue to live in these ‘uncharted’ times but, as we heard so powerfully from our Bishop last Sunday, the Holy Spirit – the Comforter – is our ‘sure guide’ and will continue to lead us through this season.

Remember, we are the church where no one stands alone and so if you need any additional support, if you need prayer or have any other request, please do not hesitate to contact us via any of the contact details at the bottom of this page.

With every blessing,

Pastor Andrew Wignal
